What we offer
Our service works alongside you in finding out what your hopes are for you and your family. We can connect you with other services to find the support for your journey. We see ourselves as a very interested support team, who values hearing from you in setting the direction for our work together.
TFS offers individual, couple and family counselling, playgroup, children’s groups, young people’s groups, parenting support groups, play therapy, and a toy library. We can also help family’s co-ordinate various services that may be involved.
Our family workers bring considerable experience and skill to the counseling offered. Parents, young people and children consult us regarding a range of issues, such as the impact of anxiety, depression, drug use, conflict or violence on their lives. Read more about our counselling services.
Family Case Management and Support
Information, referral, advocacy and linking with other services. This may include drawing the services involved with a family together to ensure the concerns of the family are worked through. Assistance in finding information or accessing appropriate services when needed.
A diverse range of groups operate throughout the year, changing from term to term. A list of the current groups is available on the Groups We Run page.

No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS)
Funded by Good Shepherd Microfinance, NSW Office of Fair Trading & NAB. Appointments available on Wednesday's. Head over to our NILS page for more information.
Parent Education Program
A series of parent education sessions provided in the home environment. Parents can be supported in many aspects of family life including routines, sleep, mealtimes and emotional and physical health.
‘Play ‘n’ Grow’ Parenting group
This group provides mentoring for parents, offering them support and advice. Families focus on building relationships with their children, with each other, and with their community. A family worker trained in play coaching provides a safe and fun context for families. Each term a visiting speaker presents on a relevant topic. Families can access the home visiting program were appropriate. More information.
